With Rollie's unfortunate disappearance, we are down one more doctor. However, our population is also down quite a bit. There are less than 100 islanders now, which means we don't really need three clinics to be staffed on a regular basis.

I therefore propose that we change the second and third clinic to non-staffed except casual shifts as preferred by the medical folks. Instead they'll have first aid supplies and the ability to call doctors from the compound.

This would make the rotations look like this. If you previously had a shift in the third clinic (Wanda, Joshua, Fitz, and Aidan) and you'd like to pick up another shift in the main clinic, please let me know or change the clinic page of the wiki.

If anyone has any objections to this, or any questions, please let me know.

Hello all! Pursuant to Cam taking over as clinic admin, I just posted Cam working on the schedule. She and I would like everyone, if possible, to confirm that they want to remain in the current clinic spots. If you're not sure which spot you're in, check here. If we don't receive confirmations, I will have to individually hunt you down and ask you (very politely). If you are a clinic shift holder who would be willing to be the shadowee for a student, please either note that or comment to a relevant student's shadow shift request.

Additionally, if you are a medical student or other interested party who would want to shadow someone, please comment here and let me know what days you might want to do that.

I'll be making changes to the schedule over the next week or so, so you don't have to comment immediately. You can also tag the post if desired and provide the same information, but I know the holidays are very busy for everyone.

First, the caveat: I do not want to step on toes, fingers, noses, or any other appendages. This is only a suggestion and I am quite willing to be shouted down.

That said, with the soon to be disappearance of Dr. House, the clinic staff and administration is getting a bit ... skeletal (I'm sorry, I'm sorry, the pun was just there). Simultaneously, the list of medical-type students is a little longer than just Phedre. Perhaps someone needs to be in charge of these two things, at least nominally.

Cam is a good administrator. Not only that, she actually mostly enjoys being an administrator. Would anyone object to Cam taking over the clinics that don't have a head and also starting to work with the med students? Perhaps shadow rotations could be set up so each interested student could work with a doctor or even on their own with a doctor on call. The kinds of injuries they'll typically deal with aren't really beyond the ken of a semi-advanced med student.

What does everyone think? Again, just a suggestion and I am certainly not trying to take over anything, but I'm interested to hear what people think of the idea.

Has this person had therapy in the past? Yes
If so, could you detail the progress of said therapy? After travelling through time, Lois returned to Metropolis suffering from loss of memory (of the time spent in the future) and PTSD, Lois began to see a psychiatrist after continuing to have strange post-apocolyptic dreams that she couldn't understand. The psychiatrist assumed the dreams were about her conflicted feelings over the 'Blur' and Clark Kent and together Lois began to realise that she in fact cared for Clark over the Blur.
Lois was constantly reliving the memories though and it was causing physical damage to her, to the point that Lois had her memory wiped by a computer program so that she could get on with her life. After that she didn't return to the psychiatrist.
What particular issues are you wanting this person to address in therapy? Her amnesia, how she feels about it and try to understand how the pieces of the puzzle fit together. She will also most likely talk about the strange dreams she has and Clark Kent.
